The brewery has grown steadily since it was founded in 1999. More than 100 outlets are supplied, usually within one hour of Cambridge. The flagship beer, Pegasus, was a CAMRA Beer of the Year for 2003. Now with three tied houses (Peterborough and London), further expansion is being carried out to cope with demand. Seasonal beer: Mammon (ABV 7%, from December).

A light malty aroma and a delicate happy palate lead to a bitter finish. A light barley sugar aroma and taste underpin this amber session bitter.

Delicious hop aromas introduce this well-balanced, nutty and refreshing copper-coloured ale. Good hoppy finish.

Pegasus
