More than 100 outlets are supplied, usually within one hour of Cambridge. The flagship beer, Pegasus, was a CAMRA Beer of the Year for 2003. Now with three tied houses (Peterborough and London), further expansion is being carried out to cope with demand. Seasonal beer: Mammon (ABV 7%, from December). ![]() Minotaur (ABV 3.3%)Rich and very full bodied for its strength, a malty chocolateyness predominates, but vanilla and liquorice flavours also surface. ![]() Jupiter (ABV 3.5%)A light malty aroma and a delicate happy palate lead to a bitter finish. A light barley sugar aroma and taste underpin this amber session bitter. ![]() Neptune (ABV 3.8%)Delicious hop aromas introduce this well-balanced, nutty and refreshing copper-coloured ale. Good hoppy finish. |
![]() Pegasus (ABV 4.1%)Clean-tasting amber best bitter with a malty, fruity and slightly sulphury start, augmented by a gentle mix of hops and toffee in the mouth that persists in the sustained bitter ending. ![]() Electra (OG 1046, ABV 4.5%)A restrained bitter and hoppy backbone with short, sweet, fruity undertones and a light malt flavour after a gentle, fruity aroma. This full-bodied amber premium bitter ends with a persistent hop bitterness. ![]() Cyclops (ABV 5.3%)Deep copper-coloured ale, with a rich hoppy aroma and full body; fruit and malt notes develop in the finish. ![]() Mammon (ABV 7.0%)Dark, rich and warming winter ale.
