Cromwell is Best Bottled Cider

Real Cider Cromwell Cider, based in Hemingford Grey has won CAMRA's East Anglian Bottled Cider competition. The competition, which attracted a record 18 entries, took place at CAMRA's Cambridge Beer Festival at the end of May. The bottled cider is available at Hemingford Grey Village Stores.


Pub News

  • The Falcon on New Street in St Neots has reopened as the Pig n Falcon with a new range of cask beers from independent brewers
  • During the recent Local Pubs Week coach tour CAMRA members called in at the Pheasant at Keyston to make a special presentation, celebrating the fact that the Pheasant has been in 10 consecutive editions of CAMRA's Good Beer Guide.
  • The Horseshoe Inn and Restaurant, Offord D'Arcy has decided to 'swallow' the duty increase and offer their customers two other incentives: 50p off a pint for CAMRA members showing their membership card, and a 'Local Secrets' loyalty card.

Orkney brewery's Raven Ale has today been voted Champion Beer of Scotland at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh.

CAMRA is pleased to officially announce that Travelodge, one of Britain's biggest hotel companies, will be sponsoring this year's Champion Bottled Beer of Britain competition, held at this year's Great British Beer Festival.

A brewery from Porthmadog has today won the prestigious Champion Beer of Wales Competition, held at the Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival (June 11th-13th), Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff.
