Three Horseshoes, Abbots Ripton. Closed from 1999 - 2004 - and then reopened! A rare victory!

Spread Eagle, Croxton. Closed Janurary 1999. For many years it remained derelict and unused. Now being developed into a residential dwelling.

This pub was "temporarily closed for alterations" - for 3 years from July 2001 - finally demolished in 2004 and the site redeveloped with flats.

Like many Charles Wells pubs, the Spread Eagle has been "temporarily" closed since Jan 2003 as planning permission for change of use, probably to residential dwellings, is obtained.

Tudor Hotel, Fenstanton, closed 2004. For many years this was a Pub and Restaurant, but now it's just a Thai restaurant.

The Harrier was a popular village local, but after being renovated in September 2004, ex-regulars now are offered a table and a menu at this Indian Restaurant renamed the Masala. This restaurant has subsequently started operating as a pub again (in 2007) but it#s long term future as a pub is still uncertain.

Kisby's Hut, Papworth Everard - converted into an indian restaurant in 2006.

Bell, Eaton Socon stood closed and deralict for nearly 2 years from July 2006, with Charles Wells looking for a lessee to take the pub on, but finally planning permission was granted to turn this fine community pub into a Kentucky Fried Chicken "restaurant".
